I see p;log provides a great platform for students in the school to embark on a “Personalised Class Journal” with both fixed and variable contents.
“Fixed” content will refer to mandatory images and text mandated by school while the variable content will refer to class event photos captured throughout the year and uploaded to p;log photobook online platform. This is complemented with personalised commentaries added by both students and teachers against the selected images.
Each student and teachers of the class can also have his/her photo uploaded in the journal where they can pen their personal thoughts for the year against their own photos.
This is both a great way of preserving the memories of what the students did together as a class for the year. It also provides every student and teachers in the class the opportunity to pen their personal thoughts for the year before graduating on to the next level. With every students and teachers of the class contributing to the personalised class journal, it will indeed be a memorable journal that every students in the class will be proud to own and relate to with contents and photos relevant and specific to their class at the end of the year.
Indeed it will be a meaningful mini class project for the school to embark on and especially for the graduating class, it will be an even better alternative than the traditional school year book where every graduating class is limited to a single class photo with no provision of personalise commentary by individual students. I personally look forward to schools adopting p;log’s platform for their graduating class year book.
