Easter Celebrations

For The Family

Easter Feast @ Regent Singapore Hotel

Spend Easter with the family filled with delicious dining experiences, and a promise of quality rest and recreation at Regent Singapore, A Four Seasons Hotel. At Basilico’s indulgent Easter Brunch, partake in an all-Italian spread which kicks off with a sumptuous variety of seasonal fare such as Thyme and Juniper Berry-crusted Roasted Baby Lamb, served with Artichokes, Sun-dried Tomatoes and Taggiasche Olives; Prosecco Franciacorta Carnaroli Risotto with Italian Scampi, Raspberries and Fresh Dill; and a “live” station delivering à la minute Asparagus and Robiola Cheese Ravioli with Egg Yolk and Norcia’s Black Truffle.

Other highlights include a Seafood Bar with Alaskan king crab, poached lobsters and tiger prawns; a cheese room featuring over 50 varieties of Italian cheeses; as well as a Gorgonzola Bar with Chef’s very own infusions: truffle, dark chocolate and cherry wood-smoked, just to name a few. The dessert buffet selection does not disappoint as Pastry Chef Alex Chong and his team bring Italian tradition to the table with the Colomba Pasquale, a soft, sweet Italian Easter bread fashioned in the shape of a dove. Also on the menu is the Pastiera Napoletana, another traditional Italian cake said to have been invented by a nun from a Neopolitan convent.

EtonHouse Gives Back Cards

The EtonHouse “Gives Back Cards” features a set of 12 different artwork contributed by EtonHouse students from as young as 18 months. The cards are blank inside and can be used for any occasion.

In 2015, as a tribute to Singapore’s 50 golden years, children from the EtonHouse family played their part to contribute to the community through a SG50 Charity Art Exhibition titled “Singapore Through The Eyes Of A Child”. Representing Singapore’s multi-racial society, rich culture, and iconic landscapes, the art pieces are conceptualised and created by children through a myriad of ways including painting, photography, sculpting and constructing. An auction of the children’s original work contributed to the launch of the EtonHouse Community Fund.

The EtonHouse Community Fund is an independent Charity registered with the Commissioner of Charities in Singapore. Launched to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the EtonHouse Group, the objectives of this charity is to improve children’s lives through education. Since its launch, it has donated generously to the ECDA KidSTART programme and the Punggol North Community Development Welfare Fund. It has also organised donation drives such as the EtonHouse Box of Joy for underprivileged children in Singapore.

‘EtonHouseGivesBack’ is the overarching thinking that guides our efforts under the EtonHouse Community Fund. The unique aspect of EtonHouseGivesBack is that it hopes to engage every member of the EtonHouse community –parents, children and staff to make a difference to the lives of children in Singapore.

To do your part for the EtonHouse Gives Back Initiative, you may purchase the cards at EtonHouse E-Store.

The Deep-Seated Tradition of Sending Greeting Cards

Despite this fast world we live in, everyone still loves to receive a greeting card. This tradition is still considered by most to be the more effective way of telling someone you really care and that you are always in their thoughts.

A greeting card is not just a piece of printed paper. It serves as a medium to express love and affection to friends or family members. It is a subtle way to express feelings towards the recipient in an appropriate manner. With various communication mediums such as SMS or email, the practice of sending greeting cards has never ceased. It is a well thought out gift that would be very much appreciated.

The Impact of Sending Personalised Greeting Cards

With the advancement of technology, greeting cards can be personalised to the recipient with an option to add a personalised message. This extra special touch can bring pleasure and warmth to the recipient especially when gifted during a very special occasion or celebration.
